About Us

While embarking upon the journey in setting up Indigo Biopharma LLC it was quickly realized that the number of companies providing contract research services was indeed quite vast and growing rapidly. Even though I had worked at a CRO for 7 years – 5 of those within India – there were large numbers of companies which were unknown to me (and that was just India). More and more seem to be popping up around the world every day.

Having lived in India certainly gave me a head start in evaluating a large number of service providers. Many of them are former employees or colleagues, so I know how they work and perform and can recommend them without reservations.

Many of these companies can be quite small, yet have very talented owners and employees, eager to provide clients top quality work. But as a scientist residing on the other side of the globe how can you know when you have found a person you can trust? A delay or complete failure could spell doom for your project or even your company.

Eventually the volume of providers to evaluate became immense. Then the idea of setting up this website struck me. It could allow providers to have their own micro-site to display their wares and it would give prospective clients a place to find CROs that have the required mix of services for their needs. Still it is a large forest of providers to wander through, so if there are those out there that would like to engage me in thoroughly evaluating those they feel may be of interest please feel free to contact me.
